Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment

Proper education of women is one of the most important aspects that a country must take care of in order to liberate itself politically, socially as well as economically. It has a direct impact on the empowerment of women because it helps in creating awareness among them about their rights, capabilities, choice and opportunities. It aids them in behaving like catalysts for overall economic and social progress of the society.

In India, most women, especially those in rural areas, still have limited access to facilities necessary for gaining education. Previously, they were even considered as the weaker section of society. Although several steps have been taken in the modern era to ensure that they receive higher education, some flaws still exist within the system that hinder any measure from turning into a success entirely.
